Neon Drift Club
★★★★☆ 4.1
Neon Drift Club doesn't pretend to be a simulator, and it's better for it. You tilt or tap to steer, the drift is forgiving, and chaining corners feels fantastic once it clicks. The night-city tracks look sharp and the soundtrack fits perfectly.
Car upgrades are cosmetic-plus-handling, so you're tuning feel rather than chasing pure numbers. Time trials are where it really shines, shaving tenths off a lap kept us replaying tracks longer than expected.
The career mode gets a bit repetitive near the end, and a couple of tracks reuse assets. Still, for a pick-up-and-race arcade game it's one of the more polished ones on phones right now.
